2 Bedroom Holiday cottage superbly located in the Cumbrian fells

Lake District Self catering holiday accommodation sleeps 4 + baby

Birchbank Holiday Cottage is semi detached to a Lakeland farmhouse with an unenclosed hard area with flower tubs and seats at the front. The cottage provides self catering accommodation for up to 4 people plus a baby and is superbly located in the heart of the Cumbrian fells with easy acess to the central and western Lake District.

The accommodation is ideal for walking, rambling and cycling being close to the Cumbrian Way and many other footpaths and bridle ways as well as cycle routes for all levels of ability.

Dogs are accepted at a charge of £15 per week but they must not be left unattended in the cottage and must be kept on a lead when out walking because of the sheep.

The Accommodation:

On the first floor there is a double bedroom with a washbasin and a view over the fells and a twin bedroom, both have panel heaters.

The bathroom is downstairs and has a shower over the bath, toilet, a washbasin with a heated towel rail.

The lounge kitchen/dining area is well furnished and includes a TV, DVD player, dishwasher and microwave. Heating is with electric storage heating and an electric woodburning effect stove.

There are drying facilities for outdoor clothes in the cottage and there is a laundry room with a washing machine and a tumble dryer.

Our water is spring water and is tested regularly.

A cot, highchair and stairgate are available for the little ones, bedlinen and towels are provided but please bring linen for the cot.

There is parking for two cars and cycle storage is available.
